“Cozy With My Baby”
True story: Christine handed me a sheet of paper- said she wrote lyrics to a country song- said I might like to work on it- write some music- so I did.
And as usual I threw myself at the project- I laid down a scratch guitar track, added vocal, drums, some piano, more guitars…
With an assist from Steve Aliment in Seattle- a great country singer/songwriter and bass player (and mate from the rock and roll years), Steve sang and added a bass track- Christine added her vocals, and we got a mix that has some country and a bit of swagger.
What else are you going to do- worry about all the shit that’s going down?
Nah- make art- make stories- make music!
