Wild Times Huh?

We find ourselves in a movie

I wish this were just another absurdist global action feature

filled with demented arch criminal clichés

like an egomaniacal wanna-be ruler of the universe

(and legend in his own mind...)

his goon squads

his sycophantic lap dogs

his private army terrorizing our own cities and towns

our friends- our neighbors-

I want to change the channel

choose a different movie at the multi-plex-

I've blocked it out as best I can

spent most of '25 painting-

writing another book-

recording a song Teen wrote-

That will all carry me on through '26-

plus projects

new work

and staying clear of social media

which has turned unsocial-

or is it antisocial-

that was rhetorical-

Whateverly-

I'm here

jus' doin' my thing

maybe I'll post something new

probably I won't-
